Hi, I’m a Pole and here is Dyngus Day. We Poles like to party, which is why we celebrate extra days of the holidays most people get one of. This theory explains both Dyngus Day and Wygilia. Dyngus Day, the day following Easter, is a day of joy for Polish people. Doesn’t that peasant woman look like she’s having a blast? First off, Dyngus Day is also called Wet Monday. Doesn’t that remind you of sex, a little?
